New Runloop accounts start on a Pro Trial: access to every Pro feature, with trial limits on devbox size, concurrency, and keep-alive time. It includes $50 in free credits, and no credit card is required to sign up. Track remaining credit and caps anytime on the Usage page in the dashboard.

Capability limits

These caps apply while your account is on the Pro Trial: Creating or launching past a cap returns an error until you free capacity (for example, shut down a running devbox) or upgrade.

Compute and size limits

Trial accounts can use these devbox sizes: X Small, Small, and Medium. Larger sizes require a paid plan. Devboxes on the trial have a maximum keep-alive of 1 hour. Suspend or shut down unused work to conserve credit.

Usage credit

Your trial includes about $50 of devbox usage, metered as vCPU-seconds, memory GB-seconds, and disk GB-seconds. Usage draws down that pool until it is exhausted.
Suspend idle devboxes and delete resources you no longer need so credit lasts longer while you evaluate the platform.

When you hit a limit

If you reach a capability cap or exhaust credit:
  1. Check current usage on the Usage page.
  2. Free capacity where you can, or upgrade from Billing in the dashboard.
